If possible, have it delivered and set up inside the house for the ultimate surprise when your valentine comes in; and enjoy hours of unique and romantic entertainment, creating a memory neither of you will ever forget.
   
2. Prepare a scavenger hunt with a special ending. In a valentine card, include a little riddle that leads your sweetie to the next clue, and place them either all over the house, or make it more challenging and start the hunt at her office and send her around town. Each clue will lead to the next, until finally, the last clue will send her right to you- where you can be waiting in a hotel room, or your favorite restaurant, or in a bubble bath with champagne glasses. Just make sure the clue's aren't too difficult, or she may never find you!
   
3. Many couples go out for dinner on Valentine's Day- take it a step further and hire a chef to come into your home and prepare a full meal for you and your valentine. Set up your dining area for romance- candlelight, music, and flowers will really help set the mood. Then, sit back, enjoy each others company in the privacy of your own home, and delight in a professionally made meal neither of you had to prepare.
   
4. Hire a saxophone player, (or other musician) for a private concert. Prepare a nice dinner for your valentine at home, and while you are enjoying the meal, your hired musician can play quietly in the background. After dinner, cuddle on the couch or in front of the fireplace and enjoy the show.
   
5. Create a memory album to give in place of a valentines card or flowers. This will take a little time, so definitely start preparing a week or so before Valentines Day, and be prepared- she just may cry when she opens this special valentines gift! In the album, place photographs of the two of you together, include any love letters you may have received from her or given to her, decorate with stickers or stamps from the craft store, and really pour your heart and soul into this little book because she will treasure it forever. Include lyrics to your favorite songs, write your own poetry or borrow some from a poetry book- go all out.
